A hands-on Senior Motion Designer will lead the motion direction for the Qualified brand, guiding story-driven animation from concept to finish while occasionally contributing to non-motion design across product launches, brand campaigns, digital experiences, and social content.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end motion design from storyboarding and concepting through animation and final polish
- Create and animate brand and product content including launch videos, social clips, product demos, and visuals for live events
- Collaborate with writers, designers, marketers, and product teams to craft visually rich, compelling narratives
- Establish scalable motion systems and templates to maintain a consistent yet flexible visual identity
- Contribute to broader design work across campaigns, the website, and product launches
- Facilitate creative feedback sessions and elevate the overall quality of work across the team
- Work with speed and craft in a high-output environment, balancing iterative progress with attention to detail
Requirements
- Strong visual design with meticulous attention to detail
- 8+ years in motion design, visual design, or art direction, ideally within a fast-moving tech context
- Portfolio showcasing a wide range of motion and design work, including campaigns, social motion, explainers, and product demos
- Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Premiere; familiarity with web animations or 3D tools is a plus
- Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, transitions, and creating motion that is purposeful and on-brand
- Creative, proactive, and capable of moving from ideation to execution with limited oversight
- Bonus: experience in B2B, SaaS, or AI storytelling
