Motion Designer

Garff Enterprises Corporate Office offers a hybrid Motion Designer role in Salt Lake City that blends creative collaboration with tangible impact. You will craft motion graphics and animation for digital advertising, social media, broadcast, streaming, internal communications, and brand campaigns. You will partner with producers, videographers, editors, designers, and copywriters from concept through final delivery in a cross-functional, Salt Lake City based environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging motion visuals and animation across digital advertising, social platforms, broadcast, streaming, internal communications, and brand campaigns.
• Design and animate graphics packages, title sequences, logo treatments, explainer videos, and other branded content.
• Create storyboards, style frames, and motion concepts; present creative solutions before production begins.
• Collaborate with creative and production teams from concept through final delivery.
• Support video productions as needed, including occasional on-set assistance during shoots.
• Maintain brand consistency while elevating work through creative approaches.
• Improve workflow with templates, motion systems, and process efficiencies.
• Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and uphold quality standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional motion design experience or an equivalent portfolio.
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion design, animation, and storytelling.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Solid understanding of typography, composition, color, timing, pacing, and animation principles.
• Ability to develop storyboards, style frames, and motion concepts, and confidently present solutions before production.
• Capacity to take projects from concept through final delivery.
• Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
• Ability to receive feedback, iterate quickly, and continuously improve.
