Job Description

The City of Foley seeks a Brand & Design Manager to lead the city's visual identity onsite in Foley, AL, with an annual salary range of USD 60,603 to 96,966.

Responsibilities

Oversee and evolve the City's brand identity across all channels to ensure a cohesive, professional appearance for print, digital, and video materials.
Produce a range of multimedia assets, including video production, photography, social media graphics, drone footage, publication layouts, and presentation templates.
Review departmental visuals and online content for brand consistency and accessibility, offering guidance to ensure compliance.
Lead design projects from concept through delivery, managing timelines and asset organization.
Partner with the Communications team on visuals for resident information and public campaigns.
Advise department staff on applying brand guidelines to their materials through dotted-line coordination.
Maintain a centralized library of approved templates, graphics, and digital assets.
Deliver training and guidance to City staff on brand standards and basic design tools.
Research and ensure accessibility standards are met in all visuals, suggesting improvements as needed.
Stay informed on design trends and recommend updates to brand guidelines.
Coordinate external vendors (printers, freelancers) for design and production needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Criminal background check completed (including driving record)
Pre-employment physical
