Video Editor & Motion Designer

Hiebing, a Madison-based agency, is seeking a Motion Designer and Video Editor to join its creative team in a hybrid work arrangement. The role centers on producing motion graphics, animation, and edited video across a range of formats, from logo animations to social content, digital video, and brand commercials. This position supports how ideas come to life on screen and helps shape visual storytelling for clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with writers, art directors, creative directors, and content specialists to bring concepts to life through motion graphics, animation, and video editing.
• Contribute across a broad project slate—from logo animation and social content to digital video and brand commercials—and play a meaningful part in how ideas are presented to audiences.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in motion design and video editing
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Comfort using expressions in After Effects to create complex animations
• Primarily 2D animation experience; 3D animation is a plus but not required
• Open to AI-enabled workflows that streamline processes and elevate output
• Ability to apply thoughtful creative judgment when using AI tools to maintain originality, strategic alignment with client goals, and brand standards
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to explore ideas, accelerate concept development, and support execution while upholding Hiebing’s standards for strategic thinking, creativity, and craft
• A strong eye for detail and compelling visual storytelling
• Comfort managing multiple projects and deadlines
• A portfolio showcasing motion and video work
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
