Salary is competitive for the role and location, with a range of $38,000 to $40,000 per year. This position is based on site in DeLand, FL and includes career growth opportunities within a values oriented organization.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging graphics for print and digital use, including flyers, program guides, social media, email campaigns, and signage
- Capture and edit photographs for programs, events, and community initiatives
- Develop and manage content for social channels that reflects the YMCA mission and values
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote memberships, programs, and events
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all materials
- Collaborate with program directors and staff to highlight member experiences and success stories
- Help manage content calendars and schedule posts across platforms
- Monitor engagement and performance metrics to refine outreach efforts
- Ensure all content is inclusive, family friendly, and community focused
- Participate in Association events and contribute to marketing needs while engaging with the community to support branches, events, and programs
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in graphic design, photography, or content creation
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva or similar tools
- Experience with photography and photo editing
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for community engagement and alignment with the YMCA mission
