Description
Device Brand Studio, an internal agency within the Devices group at Amazon, seeks a talented Creative Director to own brand identity and creative execution for products, services, and features within the devices portfolio. The role includes responsibility for brand identity and creative execution for a product line or campaign within Amazon Devices, including new-to-world and new-to-Amazon launches.
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of branding, storytelling, and visual identity, with the ability to work independently and with peers, creatives, and business partners. You will collaborate with and direct copywriters, visual, retail, and brand designers to develop brand stories, quickly turning concepts into compelling visuals and iterating based on customer and business requirements. You will pitch brand stories to stakeholders and guide the work from concept through refinement.
Given the fast-paced and high-pressure nature of the work, you should demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills. You will partner with colleagues across customer research, brand strategy, content strategy, copy, art direction, retail, go-to-market, and site merchandising to meet core deliverables, developing concepts and campaigns that tell a cohesive story across product detail pages, merchandising assets, retail fixtures, and packaging. This role requires hands-on leadership and the ability to direct internal and external creative resources while presenting clearly to leadership.
