Multimedia Specialist & Graphic Design Specialist
Job Description
BLN24 in McLean, VA (remote) seeks a Multimedia Specialist and Graphic Design Specialist with at least 3 years of experience to blend multimedia production with campaign design and executive visibility initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create campaign visuals and social content, including graphics, carousels, infographics, and branded visuals
- Establish and maintain cohesive visual identities across campaigns, aligning with brand guidelines and messaging strategies
- Develop social-first assets for LinkedIn, YouTube, and web channels
- Produce and edit multimedia content, including video, photography, motion graphics, and animations
- Support end-to-end video production from concept and scripting through filming, editing, and post-production for campaigns, events, and thought leadership
- Generate content for campaigns, executive visibility, and event promotion, including short-form video, interviews, and recap pieces
- Turn complex ideas into clear visual narratives using design and multimedia storytelling
- Create branded templates and design systems to scale campaign and social content production
- Leverage AI-driven tools and workflows to boost design and multimedia efficiency
- Build multi-channel content pipelines to repurpose long-form content into social graphics and short videos
- Collaborate with communications, marketing, and subject matter experts to align visuals with strategic messaging
- Ensure deliverables meet accessibility (Section 508), brand, and quality standards
- Stay current on trends in graphic design, social media content, and multimedia storytelling
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia production, or digital content creation
- A strong portfolio demonstrating campaign design, social content, visual storytelling, and video or multimedia work
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent tools
- Experience designing for social platforms and digital campaigns with knowledge of platform-specific best practices
- Experience producing and editing video and/or photography
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted creative tools (generative design, video, or content tools)
- Strong visual storytelling abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
