International Education, International Admissions/Graphic Design - Federal Work Study Student Assistant
Job Description
California State University, San Bernardino is seeking a Federal Work-Study Student Assistant to assist the International Education and International Admissions team with graphic design and visual communications. This on-site, part-time role focuses on creating effective marketing materials to recruit and engage students across CSUSB's international programs, leveraging the Adobe Creative Cloud to craft compelling visuals and messaging.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce digital and print marketing assets, including flyers, posters, brochures, and promotional graphics.
- Develop and edit content for social media to support student engagement, recruitment, and outreach.
- Assist in developing presentations and other visual communication materials.
- Update existing graphics and promotional content as needed.
- Create visual content to promote programs, services, and events.
- Organize and maintain digital design files, templates, and marketing assets.
- Perform additional duties to support departmental operations and outreach.
Requirements
- Must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current award year.
- Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress standards.
- Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 units undergraduate; 3 units graduate) per semester; international students must have full-time enrollment (12 units undergraduate; 6 units graduate).
- Must have a federal need of at least $2,000.
- Submit all requested financial aid documentation from the To-Do-List by the due date.
- Must have an official award notification from the Financial Aid Office.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible non-citizen, or permanent resident.
- Admission or registration as a CSU student.
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA or greater per semester and cumulatively.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Payroll requirement: Social Security Card.
- Ability to learn and perform assigned work, follow oral instructions, work cooperatively with faculty and staff, communicate effectively, and read and write English at a position-appropriate level.
