Design user-centered digital experiences for Epsilon’s internal and client-facing web platforms. As a Product Designer on Epsilon’s team in Chicago, IL (onsite), you’ll translate user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements into UX solutions, working closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and fellow designers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Apply user-centered design principles to create experiences that are useful, usable, and desirable across web-based products and platforms.
- Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and other design artifacts that clearly communicate design intent.
- Conduct and synthesize insights from user research using methods such as interviews, usability testing, competitive analysis, journey mapping, and market research.
- Solve problems of moderate scope by evaluating multiple factors and perspectives, using established design practices to choose appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements, align on priorities, and support delivery of strong user experiences.
- Contribute to CORE UI, Epsilon’s enterprise design system, while ensuring designs meet accessibility and WCAG standards.
- Participate in usability testing and incorporate findings into iterative design improvements.
- Build productive working relationships across teams and functions to support successful product outcomes.
- Stay current with emerging UX practices, tools, technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.
- Experience producing wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and other UX deliverables.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles, research methodologies, and usability best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of visual design principles and interaction design patterns.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies and how design decisions impact implementation, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- A portfolio demonstrating a thoughtful design process and user-centered solutions.
Compensation and tools
Salary range: USD 55,400 - 102,800 per year. Technologies include HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
