YouTube Creative Director, Long-Form

Charm Me LLC is hiring its first YouTube Creative Director to establish a long-form, creator-led YouTube channel rooted in entertainment-first storytelling. This onsite role in Los Angeles owns the concept-to-release creative process, combining story development, on-camera and cinematic direction, and performance improvement using YouTube analytics.

Role Overview

The Creative Director will develop long-form video ideas for Christi to shoot, oversee production from planning through release, and shape packaging that supports audience growth. The position also leverages platform insights to refine future videos based on measurable performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Invent long-form concepts that Christi can shoot, including story-driven, adventure, and challenge formats with a hook in the first 30 seconds
• Write outlines or scripts and direct titles and thumbnail direction aligned to the high-concept style
• Direct Christi on camera as A roll and plan and direct cinematic B roll
• Run the production calendar from idea development through release
• Use YouTube analytics, including click-through rate, retention, and traffic sources, to improve the next video
• Guide the edit with clear notes; you may be hands on in post at first, while the core focus remains creative direction rather than full-time editing
• Own the idea, the shoot, and the packaging for long-form YouTube content

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a YouTube creative director, creative producer, or similar role on a creator-led channel
• A portfolio of long-form videos you conceived and directed that tell a story or run a challenge viewers finish, especially for a beauty audience
• Strong instincts for hooks, story structure, titles, thumbnails, and cinematic B roll
• Comfort directing talent on set in Los Angeles
