Creative Director – YouTube Content

The Royalty Family is seeking a Creative Director to lead the development and creative direction of its YouTube content. This onsite role focuses on building concepts and scripts, directing production, and guiding edits to ensure videos connect with trends and audience preferences.

Role Focus

In this position, you will own the creative path from initial idea to final edit. You will develop entertaining concepts, craft scripts and story structure, and provide creative feedback throughout production. The work also includes staying current with YouTube trends and applying audience-focused insights to support retention and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and YouTube video ideas
• Write and refine YouTube scripts
• Direct video shoots, including talent, scenes, and overall presentation
• Lead the creative process from concept through final edit
• Collaborate closely with producers, editors, and the creative team
• Provide creative direction and feedback on video edits
• Create strong hooks, storylines, and engaging content
• Stay up to date with YouTube trends and audience preferences
• Use AI tools to support creative development and content production

Requirements

• Experience in YouTube content, directing, scripting, or creative direction
• Strong storytelling and writing skills
• Understanding of YouTube trends, audience retention, and engagement
• Ability to direct talent and collaborate with creative teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Creative, detail-oriented approach with the ability to meet deadlines
• Portfolio or samples of previous YouTube/content work required
• Must reside within commuting distance of Woodland Hills, CA, and have reliable transportation
