Creative Video Producer / Motion Designer
Job Description
Hyperbound is hiring its first dedicated Creative Video Producer and Motion Designer to bring products, customers, and stories to life through video, with onsite flexibility in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Own the creative process from concept to final cut for videos that make complex technology easier to understand and more compelling to watch.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Leadership to develop video ideas and deliver final assets.
- Translate a brief into a creative concept, storyboard, and production plan with Marketing and Product.
- Create short-form and long-form content for LinkedIn, X, YouTube (ads), and Meta (ads).
- Turn raw footage into polished, engaging video for an upcoming product launch.
- Deliver final edits and shorter cuts for social, web, and sales, incorporating feedback while keeping work polished, accurate, and ready to ship.
- On set, film customer interviews or work with founders to capture story-driven content, directing the conversation, managing equipment, and ensuring needed shots are captured.
- Refine work based on feedback by communicating clearly and maintaining the original creative vision while getting details right.
Requirements
- Storytelling instinct: transform complex products, customer conversations, or rough ideas into compelling stories, with a portfolio showing videos people genuinely want to watch.
- End-to-end production skills: comfortable owning concept and development through filming, editing, sound, color, and motion graphics.
- Proficiency with tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and modern AI tooling.
- Technical craft: hands-on comfort with cameras, lighting, audio, and on-location production, including directing interviews and capturing high-quality footage.
- Motion and design craft: animate product UI; create titles, lower thirds, end cards, and explainer graphics; design static assets like thumbnails, ad variants, and social graphics aligned to brand.
- Comfort with After Effects and Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ownership and resourcefulness: manage multiple projects, run with briefs, and decide when to handle work directly versus bringing in outside help.
- Creative collaboration: work with marketers, founders, and product teams to improve work from feedback while preserving the creative vision; communicate clearly and pay attention to details.
