Responsibilities
- Provide project management for marketing, communications, and fundraising initiatives, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and cross-team collaboration with internal staff and external vendors.
- Design and produce marketing assets for campaigns, events, and fundraising across print, digital, and environmental materials.
- Plan and execute signage and artwork installations, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with the Advancement Director and Marketing Specialist to implement marketing, event, and fundraising strategies and develop supporting creative assets.
- Edit, format, and proofread content for accuracy and consistency.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos to support storytelling and marketing efforts.
- Conduct interviews with shelter guests, staff, donors, and partners to support content creation.
- Provide hands-on marketing support for departments, ensuring alignment with brand and messaging standards.
- Support social media execution in a collaborative or backup capacity (posting, scheduling, content support).
- Maintain access and administrative support for social media accounts, Google Business Profiles, and shared inboxes.
- Assist with website updates and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- This role does not own social media analytics or strategy but supports execution as needed.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines, priorities, and expectations are clearly communicated and met.
- Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Represent the organization at meetings, events, and community engagements as needed.
- Assist with event support, including setup, coordination, and execution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of related professional graphic design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design work across print and digital platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
- Understanding of marketing and communication principles.

Reporting
Reports to Andrea Feigum, Advancement Director, who leads fundraising, marketing, and community engagement efforts.

Work Environment
Primarily an office-based role with regular on-site presence at New Life Center facilities and occasional off-site work for events, photo and video capture, and community engagement. Frequent collaboration with the Advancement Director, the advancement team, other departments, external vendors, and community partners. Regular interaction with shelter guests, staff, donors, and volunteers in a respectful, ethical manner when gathering stories and content. Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and timelines. Full-time schedule may include evenings or weekends to support events, campaigns, or organizational needs. Uses standard office equipment and creative technology. Physical requirements include extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting. This role emphasizes teamwork, creativity, accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail, within a recovery-adjacent setting that requires professional boundaries and policy adherence.
Additional Eligibility
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and provision of insurance proof may be required for performance of job duties.
