This role leads the ideation and delivery of motion graphics, animation, and distinctive filming approaches in an onsite setting in Sunnyvale, California. You will act as the team’s primary authority on motion and animation quality, aligned with Apple’s standards.
Role Overview
You will guide both creative concepting and hands-on execution across motion graphics, animation, and unique filming techniques. The position also expects collaboration across the wider creative workflow, including strategy, design, and writing, while maintaining a consistently excellent bar for quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead ideation and execution, with a focus on motion graphics, animation, and unique filming techniques.
- Work across the full creative process, brainstorming and collaborating across multiple creative functions, including strategy, design, and writing.
- Serve as the foremost team expert for any motion or animation work, upholding high expectations for excellence in quality.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in media creation or related fields.
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, including expertise in After Effects, plus working knowledge of other animation software.
- Portfolio that includes advertising and editorial work featuring original animations, motion graphics, and filmed material across a range of tonalities and topics.

Compensation
At Apple, base pay is one part of the total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is USD 186,300 - 280,000 per year. Your base pay will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments, as well as relocation.
