Hands-on creative leadership with Comcast Advertising in Philadelphia, PA (onsite). This player-coach Art Director role brings you into a high-volume, fast-moving environment across three B2B brands, where you set the visual standard while helping Associate Art Directors and designers elevate their output.
You will balance big-picture direction with real production work across integrated campaigns, digital experiences, presentations, and video support, including industry event creative. Expect collaboration across copywriters, video editors, and motion partners, plus opportunities to improve workflows with rapid prototyping and new tools.
Responsibilities
- Concept and execute visual direction for integrated campaigns from exploration through final delivery across FreeWheel, Media Solutions, and Universal Ads.
- Formally manage and develop Associate Art Directors and designers by setting clear creative direction, upholding standards, and raising team output through leadership and hands-on execution.
- Operate as a multidisciplinary designer across brand, digital, presentation, and motion-aware formats, shifting between deliverables quickly without compromising quality.
- Art direct and produce across multiple formats, including digital and paid media, sales and event presentations, sizzle reels and video frames, brand toolkits, and large-format event creative.
- Drive design innovation by introducing tools, formats, and approaches and integrating them into real production workflows.
- Use practical HTML/CSS skills to build, debug, and QA digital executions when needed, reducing friction between design and production.
- Build rapid prototyping workflows that shorten the gap between concept and proof of concept.
- Partner with copywriters, video editors, and motion partners as a creative equal.
- Develop and maintain scalable brand and design systems across a multi-brand environment.
- Spot where visual standards need to evolve and take ownership of moving them forward.
Requirements
- Portfolio showing original concept development and executed craft across digital, brand, and campaign work at an unmistakable Art Director level.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive design experience, including 2 to 3 years directing and managing creative in an agency or in-house studio.
- Strong multidisciplinary range across brand, digital, presentation, and motion-aware design.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, with the ability to create clean, production-ready files quickly.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS to debug, QA, and step in as needed, focusing on removing friction rather than full-time coding.
- Experience concepting and executing across brand, digital, and B2B campaign contexts.
- Working knowledge of motion principles, with the ability to direct video and motion partners using detailed frames and references.
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to explain the thinking behind the work.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and experience integrating them into production workflows.
- Experience working across multiple brands in fast-paced in-house or agency settings.
- Background in design systems, campaign toolkits, or scalable brand architecture.
- Experience with event and experiential creative, including large-format and presentation design.
Compensation and Logistics

Salary: USD 97,837 - 176,107 per year
Comcast intends to offer base pay within the range, based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
