Art Director / Copywriter

Tombras is expanding its Creative Social Teams with an Art Director / Copywriter who can help shape social-first campaigns and bring concepts to life at the pace of culture. Based in Knoxville, TN or Portland, OR (onsite), this role is built for creatives who enjoy collaboration, speed, and strong client-facing presentations. Tombras also supports growth from within, with a family-run culture that emphasizes support, promotions, and rapid career development.

What you’ll do

• Connect brands to real people in real-time through social-first thinking and execution.
• Write world-class work across a range of client industries, including CPG, beverage/alcohol, QSR and casual dining, retail, and luxury automotive.
• Collaborate with in-house teams including creative directors, art directors, copywriters, strategists, videographers and photographers, editors, designers, and animators.
• Work at the speed of social to move quickly and create exceptional, impactful creative.
• Present concepts confidently to agency leadership and clients.

What you bring

• A desire to create award-winning advertising with a highly motivated creative team.
• Passion for your ideas and genuine enthusiasm for collaborating with your creative team.
• 2-4 years of ad agency experience is a plus, along with related work experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a strong portfolio is ideal.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, paired with excellent design and animation skills.
• Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, and other emerging social platforms.
• Public speaking skills to present ideas clearly and confidently.
• A positive and exploratory attitude.
