Job Description

Temporary Associate Creative Director, Art role focused on concepting and executing earned-first integrated campaigns that translate into national earned media.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with an Associate Creative Director - Copywriter and creative leadership to concept and plan integrated campaign execution across multiple media and platforms
  • Lead earned-first, socially driven campaign ideas for client work and new business pitches
  • Develop and design culturally relevant, PR-able concepts from initial direction through creation
  • Coordinate with specialties across account, strategy, project management, and influencer teams
  • Build tactics that bring concepts to life while meeting program objectives
  • Manage multiple concurrent jobs and provide direction to other team members as needed
  • Work closely with a project manager and production partners to schedule work and coordinate production
  • Prepare and deliver client creative presentations and drive the client approval process
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and external vendors to complete projects within timeframe and budget

Requirements

  • Commitment to creating smart, standout work with the goal of earning recognition
  • Strong interest in trends, internet culture, music, entertainment, and sports, with attention to nuance and craft
  • Ability to thrive cross-functionally by aligning creative, strategy, production, social, and more
  • Ego-free, self-starting, and deeply team- and detail-oriented
  • At least 6 years of experience managing day-to-day detail and handling changes with a team-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Fine Arts, Advertising, or Graphic Design, or relevant work experience
  • Experience maintaining client contact as needed and supporting budget and schedule development
  • Strong prioritization skills to meet critical timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional-level mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud tools
  • Production experience in art direction and design for video, digital, and social platforms
  • Confidence presenting prior work clearly and concisely during the interview process

Salary

  • USD 105,000 - 175,000 per year
