Principal UI/UX Designer, Public Sector
Job Description
Lead UI/UX design for Missionforce across defense and aerospace domains, guiding end-to-end experience initiatives and partnering with cross-disciplinary teams to prototype high-fidelity interfaces.
Location & Compensation
- Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite)
- Salary: USD 197,300 - 344,700 per year
- Experience: 10+ years
Responsibilities
- Shaped UI/UX for Missionforce products that support mission-critical work across DoD, Intelligence Community, aerospace, and allied nations
- Collaborated with cross-disciplinary teams to develop new design patterns and bring bold ideas to life
- Led the team in articulating a compelling product vision with expert visualization, thought leadership, and close partnership with product and technology leaders
- Oversaw end-to-end experience design from storyboards and journey maps to high-fidelity mockups and functional prototypes
- Directed the team in defining and refining the product vision, leveraging strong visualization skills and collaboration with product and technology partners
- Engaged fully in the end-to-end design process to ensure cohesive user experiences across all touchpoints
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering products end-to-end as part of a cross-functional team
- Experience in or adjacent to secure environments
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Must be a U.S. citizen living on U.S. soil with no dual citizenship and able to meet customer and government screening standards
- Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with IL5/IL6/CNSS #1253 requirements or deployment to classified environments
