Job Description
The Senior UI/UX Designer on the Salesforce Platform team shapes end-to-end experiences across developer-facing interfaces, internal tooling, and customer-facing surfaces. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to define, prototype, and deliver intuitive, scalable experiences.

Summary
As a Senior UI/UX Designer on the Platform group, you influence the overall user journey across multiple surfaces including developer-oriented tools, internal systems, and customer-facing interfaces. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and design teammates, you will define strategies, prototype interactions, and deliver cohesive, scalable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UX design of platform features from initial discovery through concept refinement, interaction design, and final delivery.
- Perform user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to gain deep insight into user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Convert complex technical requirements into clear, elegant design solutions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, flows, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate design intent.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure pixel-perfect and accessible implementations.
- Contribute to the evolution of the design system to maintain consistency across the platform.
- Lead design reviews, workshops, and critiques with cross-functional partners.
- Advance accessibility and inclusive design across all projects.
- Represent the user perspective in product roadmap discussions and prioritization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product or UX design experience, ideally in a platform, infrastructure, or developer tools context
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process from research to polished UI
- Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, or similar)
- Experience designing complex, data-heavy interfaces and technical workflows
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, plus strong collaboration in cross-functional environments
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher)
- A related technical degree is required

The typical base salary range for this position is $148,500 - $223,900 annually, with base ranges of $178,900 - $246,000 in select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas. This base salary range excludes bonuses, equity, or additional benefits.
