Job Description

This entry-level Art Director role at Xpress Wellness Urgent Care supports the planning, design, and execution of visual communications that promote healthcare services and strengthen brand presence across its clinics. Working onsite in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area, you will collaborate across marketing, communications, operations, human resources, and clinical teams to deliver both digital and print assets that meet messaging and compliance needs.

As part of a fast-paced environment, you will help translate project goals into creative solutions while keeping visuals consistent with organizational brand standards and healthcare industry expectations.

Responsibilities

Design and produce marketing and communication materials such as flyers and brochures
Design and produce posters and signage
Create social media graphics for marketing and engagement
Design email marketing assets
Produce presentation templates
Support recruitment materials and related campaigns
Develop event and community outreach materials
Create internal communications graphics
Assist in maintaining and enforcing organizational brand standards across visual assets
Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and operational teams to understand objectives and develop creative solutions
Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution
Edit and resize existing creative assets for multiple platforms and audiences
Support website and digital marketing initiatives through graphics, banners, and visual content
Assist with photography selection, photo editing, and image organization
Participate in brainstorming sessions for marketing campaigns, patient education initiatives, and employee engagement activities
Manage multiple projects at once and meet established deadlines
Maintain organized archives of design files, templates, and creative assets
Ensure designs align with healthcare industry standards, accessibility best practices, and organizational messaging

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field required
0–2 years of graphic design experience
Internship, freelance, academic, or portfolio experience may be considered in lieu of professional experience
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
Proficiency with Adobe After Effects
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word
Understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and branding principles
Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms
Competency working with brand guidelines and design systems
Experience designing for healthcare, nonprofit, or service-based organizations
Knowledge of Canva, Figma, or other design platforms
Basic photography and video editing skills
Understanding of website design principles and user experience concepts
