Job Description

Intone Networks seeks a UI/UX Designer for an onsite role in Dallas, TX, focused on shaping user experiences through research, prototyping, design systems, usability testing, and collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • User Research: Conduct interviews and usability tests to extract insights that inform design decisions.
  • Design Sprints: Lead and contribute to design sprints to rapidly prototype and validate new ideas.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to convey concepts and assess usability.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design vision aligns with business goals and user needs.
  • Design Systems: Build and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across digital platforms.
  • Usability Testing: Plan and execute usability tests to gather feedback and iterate on designs for better user experiences.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to keep products at the forefront of UX innovation.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years in design or related work within a technical product or mobile application environment.
  • Leadership: Track record of guiding projects with limited oversight as an individual contributor, mentoring other designers, and leading design discussions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and ability to generate innovative solutions.
  • Quality and Delivery: Demonstrated end-to-end delivery of digital solutions using design thinking, research, and solid design judgment.
  • Initiative: Capacity to help shape product vision across the organization.
  • Design Systems: Deep, practical understanding of product design and scalable design systems.
  • Tools: Proficiency with modern, component-driven design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
  • Prototyping: Experience creating interactive design prototypes.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, consultative, analytical, verbal, and written communication; strong relationship management and influence.
  • Portfolio: Demonstrated B2B and B2C product experiences across multiple platforms you helped launch.
  • Autonomy: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal supervision.
  • Independent Thinking: Creative, autonomous thinker who can move beyond conventional solutions.
  • Curiosity: High intellectual curiosity, analytical mindset, energy, and drive for rapid-paced work.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with distributed teams.
  • Product Design: Experience designing for product-based platforms.
  • Front-End Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Accessibility: Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices.
