Work onsite in Chantilly, VA building user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and accessible. This Front-End focused role supports the delivery of seamless web application experiences using modern front-end technologies, with an annual salary range of $180,000 to $200,000.
What you’ll do
Design mockups and wireframes become production-ready interfaces through clean, efficient code. You’ll develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications, collaborating closely with UX/UI developers and back-end teams to ensure consistent, user-centered experiences.
- Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using modern front-end frameworks
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into well-structured code
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility
- Create responsive designs that perform across device types and screen sizes
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility through testing, code reviews, and quality checks
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
- Support asynchronous request handling with RESTful APIs
What you bring
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
- Understanding of version control systems, such as Git
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code
- Exposure to Agile development environments
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Useful background
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices
- Experience with performance optimization and analytics tools
