This role centers on meticulous, creative visual design within a collaborative, cross functional environment. It emphasizes user centered dashboards and data visuals, supporting business decisions through clear and accessible interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, DAX, and other reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective visual solutions.
- Create user centered interfaces that prioritize clarity, accessibility, and strong user experience.
- Maintain and enhance existing visualizations, dashboards, and reports for performance and usability.
- Apply UI/UX best practices, including layout, color theory, and information hierarchy.
- Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to improve visual solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in visualization and reporting tools, including Power BI and DAX.
- Experience designing and implementing dashboards, reports, and graphical solutions.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user centered design.
- Ability to analyze data and present insights visually.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field preferred.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.

Location and security
Location: On-site, Arlington, VA. Candidates are expected to be on-site multiple days per week.
Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and hold an active Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
