Job Description

Motion Recruitment is seeking a UX Product Designer for a hybrid contract role in Fort Worth, TX (Mid-Cities area). This position starts as an initial 4-month W2 engagement with benefits and the possibility of extension, supporting end-to-end UX and product design for an internal platform.

Role Overview

In this hybrid role, you will own UX and product design for internal applications and experiences. Work will include defining interface and interaction patterns across mobile and web, building design concepts from research inputs, and coordinating feedback across Product and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of internal applications and experiences across mobile and web, aligning with design standards and existing design systems.
Create conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes using insights from heuristic reviews, user interviews, and remote unmoderated in-person testing.
Build research strategies tied to desired outcomes, and develop usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes.
Collect, analyze, and present feedback, then apply it to manage changes to UX deliverables across Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements

3+ years of end-to-end UX, Product, HCI, or Interaction Design experience.
Strong proficiency with Figma, FigJam, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience partnering directly with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product, in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to leverage data, A/B tests, and analysis to implement design solutions.
Creative online portfolio required to showcase strengths.

Responsibilities

Concept and execute design deliverables including brand guidelines, marketing collateral, social graphics, presentations, and campaign visuals for B2B clients and multiple industries

Brainstorm and develop ideas, campaign concepts, and visual communication strategies that strengthen clients’ brands online

Troubleshoot creative issues with the team, clients, and third-party vendors

Bring fresh creative thinking and help elevate brand storytelling

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional design experience with a portfolio showing range across industries and formats
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma
Comfort working in Canva, plus experience testing and using AI tools (example tools listed: Claude, Midjourney) to support design and content work without creating “AI slop”
High energy and strong organization, able to move fluidly between clients, projects, creative challenges, and deadlines
Calm under pressure while maintaining artistic integrity within budget and timeline
Comfort collaborating with creative teams, strategists, and copywriters
Willingness to help wherever needed and maintain a positive outlook
Passion for B2B marketing and interest in telling great stories and building inspiring brands
Strong preference for web design experience, including landing pages, website layouts, and other digital experiences
Ability to translate campaign ideas and brand direction into landing page and web concepts that are visually engaging and conversion-minded
Ability to rapidly develop and visualize creative concepts across multiple directions before refining
Experience thriving in a high-volume, multi-client agency environment, balancing competing priorities and changing deadlines without losing quality
