UX Product Designer - Encore Program
Job Description
Deloitte seeks a UX Product Designer to join the DT-US Product Engineering team onsite in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Owns the design and usability outcomes for a product or domain, aligning work with the broader product experience vision.
- Partner with cross functional teams to craft engaging, intuitive experiences through an iterative lean UX process focused on continuous improvement.
- Lead cross functional groups in defining and solving complex experience challenges; champion innovative UX work that reveals new value through novel experiences; facilitate collaborative workshops.
- Apply deep Experience craft expertise to the cross functional team, deeply analyze intricate interactions, and propose clear, elegant solutions.
- Make strategic UX decisions for core features and new functionalities.
- Create novel approaches to challenging design problems and communicate them via presentations, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Map high level workflows and translate them into detailed visual and interaction designs.
- Collaborate with user researchers to shape insights that uncover unresolved interface issues and new product design opportunities.
- Produce UX assets from concept sketches to user flows, wireframes, scenarios, journeys, and mockups to enable intuitive interactions.
- Balance business priorities with user needs to craft impactful experiences.
- Work with stakeholders across business, engineering, product, and delivery to develop solutions that meet strategic goals and KPI targets.
- Help evolve the design framework to maintain a consistent language across the product suite and build a reusable asset library.
- Actively practice Experience craft modeling through hands-on project involvement.
- Perform heuristic evaluations to identify usability improvements.
- Maintain high user centered design standards, iterate rapidly, and test to boost usability and consistency across touchpoints.
- Continuously assess design effectiveness, monitor user analytics, and propose refinements to optimize experiences.
- Work well in team settings with other UX designers and independently when serving as the sole UX designer on a squad.
- Share knowledge and best practices within the experience community of practice and stay updated on UX trends.

- Minimum 8 years of UX design experience
- Education: Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
