UI/UX Senior Design Lead

Join HCL America Inc. as a UI/UX Senior Design Lead and help shape innovative experiences for digital products. This onsite role in the United States is centered on leading a design team to deliver high-quality user interfaces and user experiences across web and mobile. You will set creative direction, partner with product and engineering teams, and turn user insights into practical, polished design solutions. Salary range: USD 108,000 - 169,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UI/UX design team in conceptualizing and developing user-centric designs for web and mobile applications.
• Define the creative vision for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver design solutions that meet project objectives.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, then use feedback to iterate on designs and enhance overall user experience.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to clearly communicate design concepts and interaction flows.
• Mentor and coach junior designers, providing guidance to support growth and development.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.

Requirements

• Proficiency with UI/UX design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into innovative design solutions.
• Experience creating responsive designs for different screen sizes and devices.
• Solid communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
