Job Description

DAn Solutions is hiring an UI/UX Developer in Reston, VA (onsite) to support workflow-driven application design in a complex big-data environment, with a design-heavy focus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and document how the application and its workflows operate, then carry that understanding through wireframes and final approved designs.
  • Partner with product owners, stakeholders, and developers to translate complex business requirements into cohesive, end-to-end user experiences.
  • Produce designs detailed and complete enough to minimize gaps during development and reduce the need for developers to make independent UX decisions during implementation.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with current CI Polygraph.
  • 18 years of UI/UX Design, UI/UX Development, or highly related experience with similar scope and responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 4 years of experience.
  • Master’s degree may substitute for 6 years of experience.
  • Experience documenting user workflows and translating them into wireframes and final UI designs.
  • Ability to design complete, interconnected user experiences, including administrative functionality and end-user workflows.
  • Experience moving from low-fidelity concepts to high-fidelity, stakeholder-approved solutions.
  • Experience designing complex, workflow-driven enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency with Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop in a NIPR environment.

Salary

USD 150,000 - 185,000 per year.

Salary range disclaimer: The posted salary range reflects the good-faith minimum and maximum compensation DAn Solutions expects to pay for this position. The role may be filled at different Labor Category (LCAT) levels depending on candidate qualifications and applicable contract requirements. Final compensation within the posted range will be determined based on the applicable LCAT and factors including education, relevant experience, certifications, and other required qualifications.
