Location: Oklahoma City, OK (remote)

Role overview

The UI/UX and process automation specialist designs and develops intuitive interfaces and streamlined automated workflows using Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate, while integrating frontend technologies to deliver efficient, user-friendly experiences within DoD-approved environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Power Apps and Power Automate workflows within the Microsoft Dataverse ecosystem
  • Analyze user interface flows and implement UX optimizations
  • Build wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs using approved tools within DoD environments
  • Develop graphic elements and navigation components to enhance user experience
  • Streamline automated processes to meet functionality and efficiency standards
  • Collaborate with DABAL Data and Business Analysis teams on integrated solutions
  • Stay updated on emerging RPA technologies and share insights with the team

Required certifications

  • DoD Cyber Awareness Training (required prior to network access and annually thereafter; IAW DoDD 8140.01/DoDM 8140.03/AR 25-2)
  • AT Level I Awareness Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
  • iWATCH Army Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
  • ATCTS (Army Training Certification Tracking System) registration required
  • Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200) or Power Apps certification
  • Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer (PL-500)
  • UX design certification (e.g., Google UX Design Certificate, Nielsen Norman Group UX)

Required security clearance

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher clearance, per contract requirements.

Other requirements

  • Required training includes DoD Cyber Awareness, AT Level I, iWATCH, and ATCTS registration
  • Travel requirements vary (5–25%) annually

Required education

  • Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Programming, or related field with 2+ years of UI/UX design or front-end development experience
  • Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, or Human-Computer Interaction
