Senior Product Designer

Candid Health is hiring a Senior Product Designer to help establish the design foundations for how customers understand and transform complex healthcare payments into a human-centered experience. In this role, you will build durable design systems, drive end-to-end product work, and support a collaborative, craft-focused design culture while partnering closely across the business.

What you’ll do

• Build systems, platforms, and tools that can sustain and scale over time.
• Design new product experiences that support complex datasets and workflows.
• Create frameworks and patterns to enable consistent data storytelling across products.
• Mentor other designers and contribute to design culture and processes.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and work closely with teams including Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Operations.
• Elevate the quality and cohesion of UI/UX through high design craft and taste that raises the bar for the overall experience.
• Lead end-to-end projects, including user research, requirements development, prototyping with engineering, and final implementation.
• Own and dive deep into data complexity within this domain to shape effective solutions.
• Shape how the design team grows and collaborates as the product and company evolve.

What you bring

• 5+ years of product design experience in fast-growing companies, with a track record in B2B, enterprise, or data-complex tooling.
• Proven success leading design initiatives for SaaS platforms.
• A portfolio demonstrating the ability to scale complex UX workflows across multiple product surfaces.
• Experience mentoring other designers and helping elevate craft.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, adapting and pivoting as priorities shift.
• A high standard for user experience and quality in every deliverable.
• Comfort working through complex problems and data, creating solutions that are comprehensive yet simple.
• An approach grounded in curiosity and empathy, aiming to fully understand before proposing solutions.
• Clear communication of design approach, reasoning, and decisions to build alignment with cross-functional teams.

Compensation and location

San Francisco, CA (onsite). The estimated starting annual salary range is USD 163,000 - 200,000. Total compensation may also include equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and employee benefits. Candid Health has minimal hierarchy and titles, with broad ranges of experience represented within roles.

In-person collaboration note

This role is part of Candid Health’s in-person culture at one of its offices: Denver, New York, or San Francisco. The ideal weekly schedule is 4 days in-office and 1 day working remotely.
