Job Description

C3 AI is looking for a Product Designer to help shape the user experience across C3 AI applications and strengthen the team’s design system. This onsite role in Redwood City, CA combines product collaboration, hands-on prototyping (including AI-based approaches), and active support for design best practices across the organization. Compensation for the position is USD 108,000 to 124,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Work closely with design and product leadership to refine design concepts, evolve the design language, and translate new ideas into product-ready work.
Prototype designs using AI and present concepts to stakeholders.
Document design concepts to support alignment and long-term consistency.
Partner with the entire design team to deliver high-quality experiences.
Share design insights and support adoption of design best practices throughout the organization.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving design best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human-computer interaction, graphic design, or a related field.
Basic understanding of design systems and UI/UX principles; prior experience designing products and design systems is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, including a commitment to pixel perfection and a holistic user experience; proven pixel-perfect execution is preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration, including the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, ideally within a cross-functional team.
Accessibility best practices knowledge is preferred.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.

Solace is building the healthcare experience of the future, and this is an early-career, hands-on Associate Product Designer role designed for fast learning. You will work alongside experienced product designers, product managers, engineers, and clinicians to turn complex healthcare workflows into clear, usable, and thoughtful experiences that ship to real users.

Requirements

Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to learn by doing
Strong curiosity for design, systems, and how people experience products
An intuitive sense for what makes consumer experiences feel clear, human, and delightful
A bias toward action, preferring to make something and improve it rather than wait for perfect clarity
Care for craft and details, even when working quickly
Solid communication skills and openness to feedback
Familiarity with modern design tools, especially Figma
Bonus: Experience through internships, class projects, student teams, or side projects where you designed and shipped real work
An online portfolio showcasing your thinking, process, and design work
