Job Description
Join an early-career Product Design role focused on shaping digital experiences for JPMorganChase’s Private Bank.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand complex product problems
- Explore multiple design directions and translate research and business requirements into user flows and interfaces
- Create design assets and interactive prototypes, leveraging AI tools to move quickly
- Work within an established design system
- Participate in critiques by sharing your work and the reasoning behind design decisions
- Test ideas with users and help advocate for accessible, inclusive experiences
Requirements
- Graduated within the previous 12 months, with 0–1 years of full-time professional design experience
- Degree, or equivalent practical experience, in a design discipline such as Interaction Design, HCI, or User Experience Design, or an adjacent field such as Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Engineering, or Communications
- Professional product-design experience not required; welcome internships, coursework, capstone projects, hackathons, personal projects, and other self-directed experiences
- Strong visual-design fundamentals: typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and attention to detail
- Interaction-design fundamentals: understanding how people move through flows and states
- Product and problem-solving instincts: thinking about the problem behind the screen
- Curiosity and learning agility: asking good questions and picking up new tools and contexts quickly
- Ability to explain design decisions
- Openness to critique and enjoyment of collaboration and feedback
- Evidence of iteration in your work, not just a polished final frame
- Working understanding of applying design systems to your own work
- Interest in emerging technology and AI, with willingness to experiment
- Experience with Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools
- Portfolio showing digital product, interaction, or experience design; ideally includes process from problem and ideation through testing, solution, impact, and reflection
- Portfolio link required in resume; include passwords if the portfolio is protected

- USD 85,000 - 105,000 per year
- Base salary determined based on role, experience, skill set, and location
