Senior Product Designer
Job Description
Berkeley Research Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design across new and evolving platforms. This role focuses on shaping user experiences that enable complex, data-driven decision-making through close collaboration with a technically innovative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate concepts and visions into user flows, iterating through wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and producing detailed UI design specifications for the development team.
- Participate in ongoing activities that support learning, practice, and evolution of design practices to integrate into a more agile and efficient process.
- Lead, coach, and engage the design team to ensure goals are met, delivery quality remains high, and work is carried out effectively.
- Represent the voice of the customer by advocating for user needs while balancing business goals and technical constraints.
- Provide design leadership through presentations to cross-functional teams, using insights to guide decisions, influence direction, and elevate design standards.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer.
- Compelling portfolio demonstrating clean design execution and a strong design process.
- Demonstrated experience working in UX, Visual Design, or IA within multi-disciplinary teams across both technology and design.
- Ability to support and teach fellow designers through design pairing, design critiques, and modeling best practices.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, including Figma, InVision, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Zeplin (and similar tools).
- Ability to operate in dynamic and sometimes ambiguous conditions, shifting quickly between collaborative and independent work.
- Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with remote project teams.
- Ability to participate in collaborative team events.
Work Location and Salary
This position is Remote. Salary range is USD 140,000 - 185,000 per year.
