Principal Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead broad, cross‑product, strategic AI and web initiatives that are essential to the success of a business unit or the company, redefining how people work globally.
• Shape product experiences through a deep understanding of machine learning, elegant design, and ways to boost user and enterprise productivity, while building extensible systems and frameworks that inspire customers.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute as an industry influencer through appearances at events and publications.
• Raise the standards for the design team in envisioning, building, and iterating compelling product experiences.

Requirements

• Experience evaluating how to integrate AI into work processes, decision‑making, or problem solving, including the use of AI‑powered tools, workflow automation, AI‑driven insights, or assessing AI impact on a function or industry.
• 15+ years of relevant design experience with strong first principles thinking.
• An inspiring portfolio showing formative contributions to design language, strategy, processes, and standards at company level.
• Strategic advocate for design and for users at cross‑functional senior leadership and executive levels.
• Proven track record of delivering business value with a balance of technology understanding and deep product and engineering knowledge.
• Recognized as a thought leader delivering product experiences that combine beautiful design, productivity, extensible systems, and customer inspiration.
• Influence skills to define design strategies across multiple products and complex horizontal initiatives.
• BA/BS degree or higher in Design, Design Communication, Human‑Computer Interaction, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.
• Experience in user experience design or industry experience in corporate, software, web, or agency environments.

Work Personas
