Executive Creative Director (MD-ECD)
Job Description
Sia Experience (Ready Set Rocket) is seeking an Executive Creative Director (Managing Director) to lead integrated creative and steward the agency-wide creative vision.
Responsibilities
- Set and elevate RSR’s creative vision by establishing a clear point of view on what makes ideas compelling, culturally relevant, and worth audience attention.
- Champion concept and storytelling across video, digital, social, paid media, campaigns, and experiences, balancing emotional depth with measurable impact.
- Lead and develop copy and design leadership by setting a consistently high creative bar and supporting discipline leads to produce their strongest work.
- Translate complex, technical, or institutional subject matter into accessible stories that connect with people and inspire action.
- Shape persuasive creative narratives and presentations that bring ideas to life, build client confidence, and create momentum for ambitious work.
- Use creativity as a growth lever by expanding client scopes, strengthening senior-level partnerships, and supporting new business wins.
- Operate the Creative Department as a business unit: set standards, shape team structure, develop creative talent, and ensure sustainable delivery and financial performance.
- Strengthen RSR’s position within Sia by demonstrating how powerful ideas and storytelling amplify consulting, strategy, and end-to-end client impact.
- Maintain distinctive, idea-led work with clear storytelling, strong craft, and meaningful emotional, cultural, or behavioral impact.
- Ensure premium, cohesive copy and design standards while delivering effectively across video, digital, social, paid media, campaigns, and experiences.
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner for clients, bringing perspective that shapes story, idea, and direction for key work.
- Present creative concepts with clarity and conviction so clients understand what the idea is, why it matters, and how it connects with audiences.
- Help drive industry recognition for the work, including Cannes Lions, Webbys, Clios, and other awards.
- Support creative teams operating with clarity, accountability, and strong cross-functional collaboration to retain top talent and develop future creative leaders.
- Contribute directly to client growth, expanded scopes, new business wins, and healthy agency margins.
Requirements
- 15+ years of creative experience in a full-service digital or integrated agency, including senior-level leadership overseeing both copy and design.
- Proven experience operating as an Executive Creative Director or equivalent, leading integrated work, senior teams, and high-stakes client engagements.
- Strong creative judgment across visual systems and storytelling, with the ability to set standards without hands-on execution.
- Demonstrated business acumen, including ownership of creative staffing, project scoping, budgets, and contribution to agency growth.
- Exceptional client presence and presentation skills, including experience selling bold ideas to senior stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Design, Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Office Workplace Guidelines
- Consultants in primary market office locations (New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco) are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and attend the office at least three days per week.
- For Consultants outside primary markets, more flexible in-person requirements may be available based on location.
Work Authorization & Sponsorship

Location: New York, NY (onsite) • Compensation: USD 250,000 per yearly • Experience: 15+ years
