UX Product Designer - Encore Program
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Own design direction and usability for a product or product area.
- Align the product with the broader product experience vision.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to craft engaging, intuitive experiences using Lean UX and iterative improvement.
- Lead cross functional teams to frame and solve complex experience problems and drive innovative UX initiatives; facilitate workshops.
- Leverage expertise in Experience design to tackle complex challenges within the product team and propose elegant solutions.
- Make strategic UX decisions for core and new functions and features.
- Develop innovative approaches to complex design problems and communicate them via presentations, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Create big picture workflows while executing detailed visual and interaction design.
- Collaborate with user researchers to inform studies addressing unresolved interface problems and design opportunities.
- Produce all UX assets including concept designs, user flows, wireframes, usage scenarios, user journeys, and mockups to support intuitive interactions.
- Balance business priorities with user needs to create impactful experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and delivery to develop solutions aligned with strategy and KPI outcomes.
- Contribute to the design framework, maintain a consistent design language across the product suite, and build a library of reusable design assets.
- Participate actively in hands on Experience craft modeling within projects.
- Perform heuristic evaluations of existing products to identify usability improvements.
- Uphold high standards of user centered design, iterate quickly, and test designs to improve usability across touchpoints.
- Monitor design effectiveness, analyze behavioral data, and propose enhancements to optimize user experiences.
- Operate effectively in collaborative settings with other UX designers and autonomously when serving as the sole UX designer on a squad.
- Share knowledge and improvements within the experience community of practice and stay current with UX trends.
