UX Product Designer
Job Description
Design and deliver accessible UX for Human Resources digital products within an enterprise environment in Tampa, FL (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with research, stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to ideate and co-create approaches and solutions
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, aligned to the established Design System
- Use research and testing to inform and validate designs while applying UX best practices
- Actively question existing approaches to address root causes and improve outcomes for users
- Maintain a constructive, positive mindset when receiving and applying feedback
- Hand off high-quality design assets to engineering with clear guidance so designs are understood end to end
- Support engineering through regular UX review checkpoints to help ensure quality and fidelity to the intended system
- Stay current with evolving UX practices, innovations, and tools
- Ensure design work complies with ADA and WCAG accessibility standards
- Deliver on schedule by identifying and managing risks, escalating as needed to meet timelines
- Assist and train new UX team members
- Contribute to the broader UX community of practice
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry UX design experience
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability
- Experience working on complex, enterprise-scale or consumer design projects
- Creative sensibility and a strong eye for design
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with professional design tools: Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD, InVision
- Experience working with Design Systems
- Practical experience with AI-enabled design tools (e.g., generative design, AI-assisted prototyping, content generation) including the ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and integrate them into the design process
