Job Description
Join Deloitte’s DT-US Product Engineering team in Tampa for a UX Product Designer role that blends high level experience strategy with precise visual and interaction work. This onsite position offers a competitive salary range of USD 97,000 to 200,000 per year, and a path to shape user-centered solutions across both broad workflows and detailed interface elements. A minimum of eight years in interaction or product design and a degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field are required.

Responsibilities
- Own the design and usability for a product area, linking day-to-day decisions to the broader product experience vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft engaging, intuitive experiences using an iterative lean UX approach for continual improvement.
- Lead groups in framing complex experience problems and drive innovative UX efforts that unlock new user value through novel interactions; facilitate cross-functional workshops.
- Apply your expertise in experience craft within the product team, analyzing intricate challenges and proposing elegant, effective solutions.
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions for core and new features.
- Develop new approaches to intricate design problems and communicate designs via presentations, mockups, and click-through prototypes that realize your vision.
- Create strategic big-picture workflows while delivering meticulous visual and interaction design.
- Partner with user researchers and influence studies to discover unresolved interface problems and design opportunities.
- Design and deliver all UX assets, including concept designs, user flows, wireframes, usage scenarios, journeys, and mockups to support intuitive interactions.
- Balance business priorities with user needs to create impactful experiences.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, product, and delivery teams to advance solutions that meet strategy objectives and KPI outcomes.
- Contribute to the overall design framework to ensure a consistent language across the product suite and maintain a library of reusable design assets.
- Engage hands-on in experience craft modeling by actively participating in projects.
- Conduct heuristic evaluations to identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements.
- Uphold high standards of user-centered design, iterating quickly and testing to improve usability and consistency across touchpoints.
- Monitor behavioral analytics and advocate design improvements to optimize the user experience.
- Work effectively in collaborative UX settings or autonomously as the sole designer on a product squad.
- Share knowledge and best practices within the experience community of practice and stay current with UX trends.

- Deep understanding of interactive design principles, delivering interfaces that are simple, elegant, usable, and accessible.
- Extensive experience designing for both desktop and mobile, with responsive and adaptive design considerations.
- Passion for solving user pain points through design thinking and user feedback to create valuable experiences.
- Creative and analytical mindset, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
- Collaborative, open-minded, and eager to learn and iterate based on feedback.
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced settings and embraces rapid iteration to improve outcomes.
