UI & UX Designer

BrighTex Bio-Photonics is hiring a creative UI & UX Designer in San Jose, CA (onsite). In this role, you’ll turn company and client goals into high-visual-impact user experiences across websites, mobile and desktop applications, and marketing collateral. You’ll also help shape how the brand shows up online, from social media presence to optimized ad campaigns.

What you’ll do

• Interpret the design brief by capturing requirements and client needs.
• Plan and schedule project implementation to support smooth delivery.
• Create new design concepts, graphics, and UI layouts, bringing fresh ideas to the work.
• Develop clear interaction and design plans using wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Use graphic design software across a wide range of media.
• Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.
• Launch optimized online adverts using Google Adwords, Facebook, and related channels to increase company and brand awareness.

What you bring

• Strong knowledge of Photoshop.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry-leading software and technologies.
• Working familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premiere, prototyping tools, and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and Javascript for Responsive Web Design.
• Creative flair with versatility, conceptual and visual ability, and originality.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills supported by a strong portfolio.
• Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas professionally.
• Knowledge of Video Editing and Motion graphics.
• Strong professionalism around time and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, copywriting, and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques.
• Strong familiarity with social media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and similar platforms.
• High proficiency across design aspects.
