Job Description

Robotics Technologies is looking for an experienced UI/UX Engineer to build user-friendly, visually polished, and responsive web applications in San Antonio, TX (onsite), with additional location references listed for Jersey City, NJ. This role combines hands-on UI/UX design with front-end engineering, so you can shape the experience from concept through implementation.

What you’ll focus on

  • Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that align with user needs and product goals.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows to translate ideas into clear UX.
  • Develop responsive web applications with strong attention to UI quality.
  • Convert business requirements into UI/UX solutions that work in practice.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
  • Run usability testing, then use findings to improve the user experience.
  • Maintain design systems and reusable components to support consistency and speed.
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Optimize performance and accessibility across the application.
  • Identify and resolve UI/UX issues as they appear in development and testing.
  • Follow modern design standards and best practices throughout the workflow.

Skills and experience

You should bring strong experience across UI/UX design and front-end development, with the ability to work through wireframing, prototyping, and modern web technologies.

The work involves building responsive user interfaces, improving usability through testing, and supporting maintainable systems via reusable components.
