Job Description

Onsite Sr. Product Designer role in New York, NY for AWS Events, bridging design and engineering to deliver front-end features for the AWS Events Mobile App and Concierge AI.

Responsibilities

  • Develop front-end features for the AWS Events Mobile App using React Native, delivering consistent iOS and Android experiences.
  • Translate UX wireframes and high-fidelity mockups into responsive, accessible, and fast mobile components.
  • From customer experience, ideate and rapidly prototype new app concepts, validate ideas with user testing, and iterate toward production readiness.
  • Own and evolve the mobile design system to ensure visual and interaction consistency across screens and releases.
  • Design the front-end conversational UI for the Concierge AI, enabling personalized session recommendations, wayfinding, and real-time event support in natural multi-modal interactions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate generative AI responses into the client layer seamlessly.
  • Conceptualize, prototype, and ship engaging interactive experiences for re:Invent attendees.
  • Operate at startup speed, moving from sketch to working prototype within days rather than weeks.
  • Partner daily with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to ensure end-to-end delivery.
  • Advocate for design quality in code reviews, establish front-end best practices, and uphold accessibility standards.
  • Clearly communicate technical trade-offs and translate design intent for engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a front-end technologist, software engineer, or UX prototyper.
  • Provide coding samples in front-end programming languages.
  • Online portfolio showcasing work.
  • Proven ability to develop visually polished, engaging, and highly fluid UX prototypes.
  • Experience collaborating with UX, Product, and technical partners.

Compensation

  • Salary: USD 154,200 - 208,600 per year
