Senior Web Designer, Brand

Vanta seeks a Senior Brand Designer, Website to craft marketing web experiences for vanta.com. This brand‑forward design role reports to the Web Design Lead and collaborates closely with developers and marketers, while operating in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Design editorial‑quality web experiences that clearly communicate Vanta’s brand, product, and vision with clarity and creativity.
• Own end‑to‑end design for high impact web pages, from concept and art direction through responsive design and developer handoff.
• Create compelling data visualizations, infographics, and abstract metaphors to render complex concepts accessible and memorable.
• Curate photography and illustrations that reinforce the brand identity; contribute visuals when needed.
• Contribute to the web design system to ensure visual consistency and sustainable workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, marketers, and content stakeholders to translate business goals into digital experiences.
• Experiment with new visual approaches, including AI prototyping tools, to raise creative standards.
• Set and uphold high standards for craft, typography, layout, and digital design best practices across the web.
• Balance brand expression with UX best practices and business objectives.

Requirements

• BFA in graphic design or a similar field
• 8+ years of experience in web, brand, or visual design, ideally at a fast‑paced tech company
• A portfolio that demonstrates brand storytelling through digital experiences, with a focus on marketing websites
• Expertise in data visualization, visual storytelling, and translating complex information into clear, appealing design
• Strong ability to work with and evolve brand systems including type, color, components, and grids, extending them into new digital expressions
• Excellent understanding of responsive design, marketing site UX principles, and current trends in digital and interactive design
• Advanced proficiency in Figma with the capacity to build scalable, organized design files and systems
• Experience collaborating with developers and familiarity with web implementation constraints
• Working knowledge of AI ideation or prototyping tools
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly
• Open to using AI to augment skills and strengthen work, applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
