Senior Product Designer, Document Cloud Mobile Growth
Job Description
Adobe's Document Cloud Mobile Growth team, centered on Acrobat Mobile, seeks a Senior Product Designer to shape a cohesive mobile experience through systems thinking, data-informed funnels, and monetization touchpoints. This onsite role in San Francisco, CA offers a salary range of USD 124,600 - 234,250 per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a systems-level model of the Acrobat Mobile experience, mapping how surfaces relate, how moments connect, and where coherence exists or breaks.
- Analyze funnel and behavioral data with partners to identify where users hesitate, miss value, or drop off, applying a holistic systems perspective to findings.
- Design and test monetization touchpoints along the mobile journey, including upgrade prompts, paywalls, plan comparisons, and subscription flows, treating conversion as a moment within the system rather than a separate track.
- Form clear hypotheses and prototype rapidly to assess how entry points, onboarding flows, messaging, and interaction patterns influence adoption and return, prioritizing learning over perfection.
- Identify reusable patterns and frameworks that span the experience rather than solving isolated screens.
- Connect design decisions to business outcomes and present the rationale clearly to partners and senior stakeholders.
- Apply and evolve mobile design patterns that are consistent, scalable, and aligned with iOS and Android platform conventions.
- Contribute documented thinking to raise the team's shared understanding of how Acrobat Mobile functions as a whole.
- Collaborate closely with research, data science, content strategy, product management, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of product design experience with a portfolio showing both systems-level thinking and execution on specific user moments.
- Ability to reason from behavioral data and metrics alongside user research; able to identify what to ask from a funnel and what the funnel is missing in the product.
- Experience running experiments: formulating hypotheses, designing tests, interpreting results, and applying learnings.
- Strong problem-framing skills, defining the right problem and recognizing when a local fix is insufficient.
- Deep knowledge of mobile design principles and platform conventions for iOS and Android.
- Proficiency in Figma with the ability to prototype in Figma, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration with research, data science, product management, and content partners.
- Clear, confident communication with the ability to align with senior partners.
- Self-directed working style with a track record of setting milestones and driving work forward.
- Genuine passion for mobile, curiosity about industry shifts, and a point of view on what mobility means for users.

- A design degree is not required; a strong portfolio and resume speak for themselves.
Preferred Accessibility Skills
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
- Understanding of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design, including testing comps, wireframes, and prototypes for accessibility standards.
- IAAP certifications such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS are a plus.
