Senior Product Designer
Job Description
Spark Advisors is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help transform complex information into clear, confident user actions. This role focuses on internal tooling and improving the experience for agency leaders, partnering closely with product, engineering, data, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Design interaction flows and UI components that enable brokers and agency leaders to take effective action on key data, including production trends, contracting gaps, and commission issues
- Turn complex datasets and reporting into intuitive workflows, visualizations, and in-product controls
- Run user research such as discovery interviews and usability tests, then apply findings to shape design decisions and validate UX patterns
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data to deliver features across the product lifecycle, from prototypes through post-launch iteration
- Incorporate AI tools into design practice, including research synthesis, rapid prototyping, and exploring design directions, and help evolve how the design and product team uses AI day to day
- Build reusable components, interaction patterns, and documentation for Spark’s design system
- Apply and refine information architecture and navigation patterns to reduce cognitive load and support better user decision-making
Requirements
- 4-6+ years designing web-based B2B SaaS or internal tools, with a focus on complex workflows and data-rich interfaces
- Portfolio required, expected to include end-to-end projects, design decision-making, user research, user flows, and production UI deliverables
- Fluency in Figma and interest in working with and helping evolve AI-assisted design workflows
- Experience contributing to a design system, including components, patterns, and documentation
- Strong understanding of information architecture and how to structure data-heavy experiences for clarity
- Solid UX fundamentals, strong craft, and growing systems thinking
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate design rationale grounded in user and business insight

Base Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 USD (per year)
