Product Designer

Own the end-to-end product design for an agent-centric platform, from discovery to launch, while building the design function as Adapt grows.

Responsibilities

• Design clear experiences across Slack and web for setup, integrations, agent behavior, and user control.
• Create and maintain a code-backed design system that engineers and coding agents can use by default.
• Partner with engineers to ship and iterate across core flows, product copy, and visual details.
• Conduct direct customer conversations and convert observed friction into shipped improvements.
• Set the product quality bar and support launches through demos and supporting visuals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience; experience in AI, developer tools, infrastructure, or enterprise software is ideal.
• A portfolio demonstrating complex systems that are understandable, with clear ownership from customer problem to shipped product.
• Proficiency in Figma and comfort writing frontend code, including HTML and CSS (ideally React).
• Strong interaction, visual, and product-copy craft, informed by regular use of frontier AI tools.

Compensation

• San Francisco base salary: $180,000 to $230,000 per year (based on role-related skills and experience).
• Total compensation includes equity and benefits.
