Product Designer

Design end-to-end core product experiences at Rogo, collaborating with design and engineering leadership while helping shape design culture and systems.

Responsibilities

• Design core product experiences end-to-end, including problem framing, flows, prototyping, visual design, and production polish
• Work closely with Head of Design (Chris Zachary), CEO/Co-founder (Gabriel Stengel), and engineers who care about building a great product
• Help establish design culture, standards, and systems across Rogo

Requirements

• Thoughtful care for visual polish and delight
• Enthusiasm for shipping at high velocity
• Systems thinker experienced with open-ended problems, not only point solutions for feature flows; able to design flexible systems across a platform
• Judgment to decide when to be scrappy and when to invest time in polish
• Ability to work with engineers and understand technical constraints; React/Tailwind coding not required but helpful, and comfort with HTML/CSS expected with willingness to learn React/Tailwind
• Natural prototyper who iterates through testing rather than static mocks; use AI tools, Figma, code, or pencil & paper to match the right level of fidelity for each scenario
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Product design experience at a startup

Location & Compensation

• Location: New York, NY (onsite)
• Salary: USD 165,000 - 315,000 per year
