- Own the end-to-end design process, from early discovery through launch, applying design best practices to drive impact at each stage
- Translate dense or ambiguous data into clear user experiences that build trust and understanding
- Use storytelling to make complex business identity and risk concepts more approachable, explaining the rationale behind design decisions
- Shape and evolve Middesk’s design system and visual language to support consistency, accessibility, and high craft across products
Requirements

- Ability to interpret complex data and determine how to represent it in the user experience, with sound judgment about data representation
- Systems-thinking mindset that connects user experience with API-driven systems
- Familiarity with developer tooling such as SDK configuration, setup flows, and technical onboarding
- Deep familiarity with LLM-powered development tooling (Claude Code, Codex, or similar), with the ability to build end-to-end prototypes with little to no engineering support
- Strong communication skills for clearly articulating design decisions and advocating for customer needs
