Lead UI & UX Designer

iComponent Software is hiring an experienced Lead UI & UX Designer to guide UI/UX design initiatives and strengthen product usability. This in-person role is based in Lowell, MA, with a competitive pay range of $110,000 to $140,000 per year. You will work closely with product and engineering teams while helping shape a consistent, user-centered design approach across the product.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead UI/UX design projects from early concept through completion
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality interface designs
• Run user research and conduct usability testing to improve how people experience the product
• Develop and maintain consistent design systems to support scalable UI patterns
• Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to align design and implementation
• Provide design feedback and guidance to support team execution

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
• Several years of professional UI/UX design experience
• Figma proficiency and experience using modern design tools
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Experience with responsive and accessible interface design
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
