Co-Op: Business Intelligence UI/UX (Spring 2027)

Design and co-develop Power BI reporting that turns supply chain data into clear, usable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards that surface actionable insights across supply chain functions such as procurement, logistics, inventory, and demand planning
• Use UI/UX design principles to create visually engaging, intuitive, and user-friendly reporting experiences
• Partner with business and data teams to translate requirements into data stories and visual narratives
• Turn complex data into clear visuals, infographics, and executive summaries for different audiences
• Maintain strong performance, data accuracy, and quick refresh times for dashboards
• Improve report usability through user feedback and iterative refinement
• Build and maintain documentation and design standards for Power BI visuals and dashboards
• Work with data engineers or analysts to ensure data models and pipelines support business needs efficiently

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree at an accredited school
• Have completed 30 semester hours before the internship starts and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
• During the co-op rotation, not enrolled in academic courses; may work up to 40 hours per week
• Ability to deliver quickly while maintaining quality and consistency
• 2 years of experience in Power BI development and dashboard design
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles, data visualization best practices, and storytelling techniques
• Strong experience with Power Tools including Power Automate and Power Apps
• Excellent skills in visual hierarchy, color theory, layout design, and interpreting data
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to generate business insights
• Experience managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong written and oral communication, plus presentation skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
• Ability to work with Microsoft laptops, products, and services
• Proficiency with SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data
