Job Description
Kalshi is building a web presence where brand expression and product clarity meet. This onsite role in New York, NY focuses on designing highly crafted brand and marketing pages and digital experiences from early concept through launch, with an emphasis on reusable systems, responsive quality, and close collaboration with Engineering.
Web Designer at Kalshi
Location: New York, NY (onsite)
Salary: USD 115,000 - 180,000 per yearly
Experience: Minimum 5 years
What you’ll do
- Own the design of Kalshi’s brand and marketing web presence from concept through launch
- Design highly crafted brand pages, campaign landing pages, partnership pages, policy and editorial pages, and one-off digital experiences
- Translate Kalshi’s visual identity into compelling digital experiences, not just template-based placement of brand assets
- Partner directly with engineers to bring designs to life and maintain a high bar for quality during implementation
- Create responsive experiences that perform beautifully across devices and screen sizes
- Prototype interactions, motion, and new ideas for how Kalshi shows up on the web
- Build and evolve reusable components, patterns, and systems that improve consistency and speed across web properties
- Conduct design QA and focus on the details between design and production
- Move quickly for one-off launches while thinking systematically about what should become reusable
- Help define and evolve Kalshi’s visual and interaction language on the web
- Collaborate with Brand, Engineering, Product, Growth, and other teams on major launches and company moments
What you bring
- 5-7 years of experience in web, digital, or brand design
- A strong portfolio of highly crafted web and digital work
- Exceptional typography, layout, hierarchy, and visual design instincts
- Strong brand instincts and the ability to translate a visual identity into a distinctive digital experience
- Excellent Figma skills
- Deep understanding of responsive web design and how designs translate into production
- Strong interaction and motion design instincts
- Ability to move quickly on one-off projects while also thinking in systems
- High attention to detail and a strong bar for craft
- Ability to independently own projects without significant day-to-day direction
- Comfort working directly with engineers from early exploration through launch
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment
- Excitement about owning a space and proactively improving it rather than waiting for tightly defined briefs

- Experience at a high-growth startup or similarly fast-moving environment
- Experience building or evolving web design systems and reusable component libraries
- Strong prototyping skills and experience exploring interaction and motion concepts
- Experience working closely with front-end engineers and understanding the possibilities and constraints of the web
- Experience designing editorial, data-driven, or content-heavy digital experiences
- Experience creating ambitious campaign sites, launches, or interactive brand moments
- Familiarity with fintech, trading, consumer internet products, sports, culture, or other areas where Kalshi operates
Pay transparency
Salary Range: $115,000 to $180,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
