Job Description

Sia Experience is seeking a Visual Design Lead to shape the visual craft behind brand, web, and digital marketing initiatives. This onsite role in New York, NY focuses on translating brand and strategy into cohesive visual systems, leading key design deliverables, and mentoring designers through critique and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate brand and strategic direction into cohesive visual identity systems across web and digital channels.
  • Lead visual design execution for key deliverables, including brand identities, websites, landing pages, and digital marketing assets.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, digital design systems, and visual standards to support consistency and scalability.
  • Create high-fidelity visual layouts and templates for web, presentation, and campaign work.
  • Direct design decisions across typography, color, composition, imagery, and motion to strengthen brand expression across digital environments.
  • Collaborate with web developers and content teams to ensure design intent carries through to final builds.
  • Communicate design concepts, rationale, and refinements clearly to internal teams and clients.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level designers through critique, design guidance, and best-practice sharing.
  • Support pitch work and new brand concept development through visual storytelling and design thinking.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years working in design or an advertising agency.
  • Expertise in Figma.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating paid social, digital marketing, UI/UX, and campaign work.
  • Experience designing with or exploring generative AI.
  • Strong eye for typography, layout, detail, and a commitment to visual storytelling.
  • Understanding of how digital design translates across responsive products and platforms.
  • Collaborative energy, curiosity, confidence, and a passion for mentoring others.
  • BA education requirement.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected compensation for this role is $110,000 - 120,000 per year. The exact salary may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Workplace Guidelines

Consultants located in primary market offices (New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco) are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and attend the office at least three days per week. Consultants outside primary markets may have more flexible in-person requirements based on location.
